Our mission is to gather and disseminate research to tourism in Norfolk and the region. We aim to educate our leaders and citizens to the end that tourism grows and contributes to our quality of life.

Our vision is to be the recognized center for tourism research in Norfolk / Hampton Roads, with a wide breadth of contemporary research that is well communicated and informs regional leaders and influences decision making. Citizens will have a clear understanding of tourism’s value and myriad career opportunities. Tourism will flourish and contribute to enhance quality of life of all citizens.
