Promote Your Meeting

The Public Relations department at VisitNorfolk is here to help you promote your upcoming meeting, conference, convention or special event.

Our communications team can help you prepare customized press releases, and will be glad to help you distribute your press releases directly to our extensive network of local and national media contacts. We will also be happy to post your press release to our online press room. Please fill out this worksheet online, then save the file as a .pdf. Simply e-mail, fax or mail the completed worksheet to Erin Filarecki, Media Relations Manager, no later than 8 weeks prior to meeting date.

Additional services include Norfolk specific press kit information, photos, logos and an informational video.

For large groups, our department will be glad to provide strategic PR and media planning to help boost attendance and communicate conference information. This can include the creation of an electronic mailer, using your creative designs and graphics. We will also be glad to distribute the mailer to those recipients on your designated mailing list.
