Arrive in Hampton Roads on Friday, April 27 to tour the nation’s oldest stone fort, Fort Monroe. After dinner in Virginia Beach you can stroll along the boardwalk before checking into your Norfolk Hotel for 2 nights. Saturday begins with a tour of Nauticus, the National Maritime Center and the USS Wisconsin, the last battleship ever built by the US Navy. End the day experiencing ocean life at the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center. The next day, you will walk aboard the Battleship Wisconsin, explore space at the Virginia Air & Space Center, and enjoy a lunch cruise aboard the Spirit of Norfolk. The next day you will visit the Norfolk Naval Station, the World’s Largest Naval Base and then head for a the beach for the annual Neptune Festival. This festival is a 30 block beach party with live music, a art show and blocks of live entertainment so wear your flip flops! Day three your tour includes the Old Coast Guard Station, the largest and last battleship the U.S.S.Wisconsin, and the Douglas MacArthur Memorial for a little bit of history mixed with fun!
