When your feet tire, or when you want to venture a bit further, simply hop on the Tide, Norfolk’s new light rail system. The Tide’s 7.5 mile route in and out of the downtown area includes 11 stops allowing convenient access to many of the city’s offerings. The Tide’s route is complimented by the new NET Connector, an electronic trolley system which travels to the city’s Ghent Historic District.
