6th Annual Bayou Ball Festevents, in partnership with the Arts Council of New Orleans, will present a FREE intimate evening of art and music on Thursday, June 23, beginning at 8pm in the Missing Kidney Bar. The evening will provide the opportunity for guests to meet and talk with the NOLA artists about their art as well as bid on original pieces and other prizes through a silent auction while listening to the sounds of New Orelans and enjoying authentic cajun food from Cajun Cafe and cold beverages inspired by New Orleans. The proceeds from the silent auction are donated to the Arts Council of New Orleans to aid their efforts in rebuilding the art community of New Orleans. All guests attending Thursday's Ball will receive 1 free Friday, June 24, 2011 admission ticket (1 Friday ticket per guest) for Bayou Boogaloo and Cajun Food Festival. Additionally, Boogalooers can save $10 with advance purchase of a 3-day festival pass. Tickets for this classic party are $20 for a weekend pass (advanced purchase only), or $10 daily.
