'Reflections of Nature' is a collection of thirty glass sculptures that artist Craig Mitchell Smith has created exclusively for Norfolk Botanical Garden in celebration of its 75th anniversary. These garden-inspired sculptures will embellish locations throughout the landscape. The exhibit will be open all day during garden hours and run from May 1st to August 17th.
The Chrysler Museum presents 'Let's Go Shopping' at the Selden Arcade, a free exhibit as part of the Chrysler Museum Roadshow. This eclectic selection from the Chrysler Museum's Collection celebrates the act and the art of shopping from 19th century New York and Paris to modern-day Nanjing. The scope of paintings and photographs provide an insightful look at a universal human experience. Eras and cultures change, but the thrill of shopping endures.
The Mid Atlantic Art Exhibition will feature 2-D and 3-D artworks from around the country. Chrysler Museum's director William Hennessy had the daunting task of jurying this exhibition from 563 artwork submissions from 18 states! The selected artwork will be on display in three of d'ART's Galleries. There will also be an Awards Reception on April 26 from 6-8pm where $3200 will be awarded.
Relive the past with enormous gun devices, tools, and personal mementos from Norfolk's own Battleship Wisconsin.This exhibit includes a 2,400 pound military analog computer, a 12-foot long optical range finder, WWII racks (bunks), galley equipment, shell sleds, and cradles for moving the Wisconsin's 16 inch gun ammunition, a 48-star U.S. flag, and dozens of never-before-seen archival images.

Visitors will be able to explore even more of the Battleship Wisconsin's interior with a brand new guided tour, which focuses on 'Life at Sea' for a wartime sailor. This 60 minute guided experience will include the ship's laundry, tailor shop, library, bakery, donut shop, enlisted berthing, and galley. There is another tour at 2:30pm.

Daniel Rozin's 'Sketch Mirror,' one of Chrysler's most popular exhibits of 2010-2011, has been installed at the MacArthur Center as part of the Chrysler Museum Roadshow. Rozin's interactive artwork features 'YOU' as the subject matter and sketches a computerized caricature on the TV screen. It is located outside of Nordstrom on the first floor of the mall and will be on display throughout 2013. Big Bands on the Bay ends the weekend with a sunset celebration on the Chesapeake Bay. Welcome the stars every Sunday night beginning May 26 and running through September 1, 2013. Guests are invited down to the Gazebo at Ocean View Beach Park for live Big Band music and dancing.
